New Medicare Rebates for Speech Concerns

From 1 March, Medicare has expanded existing referral items to include children who have, or are suspected to have, stuttering, speech sound disorders, and cleft lip and/or palate.
Eligible children may access up to 8 assessment sessions and 20 treatment sessions under this pathway.
Building Works Underway at Playology Clinic

Building works have officially commenced, as Playology Clinic expands into our neighbouring unit at 14 Railway Crescent, Croydon. This significant expansion will substantially increase our physical space, allowing for 10 additional therapy rooms, a large auditorium/gym space, and a full industrial kitchen.
The additional space will support growing community demand for psychology, occupational therapy and speech pathology services, and will enhance opportunities for collaborative care, group programs and family-focused supports.
There will be no disruption to existing appointments during this time, and services will continue as usual while we prepare the expanded space. We look forward to welcoming families into the new area, hopefully by Easter.
