Playology has grown a lot over the last two years — and we want that growth to be sustainable for our team and the families we support.
That means we don't always have positions available. We grow our team when there is the right combination of client demand, space and a role that makes sense for both Playology and the person joining us
.
Right now, we're recruiting for Therapy Assistants and casual Client Care (reception) team members.
While we're not currently recruiting Psychologists, Occupational Therapists or Speech Pathologists, you're welcome to send us an expression of interest and tell us a little about you, your experience, what you're interested in and what you'd like your next role to look like.
We may not have a position immediately, but we can keep your details in mind as future opportunities develop.
Role type: Casual
Would suit: students currently studying speech pathology, psychology, or occupational therapy, who are passionate about working in the paediatric space.
What's the role?
Our Therapy Assistants work alongside our allied health team to help children and young people practise and embed strategies from therapy into everyday life.
Therapy Assistant sessions often happen in a child's natural environments — at home, school, kinder or in the community — creating opportunities to practise skills and strategies where they're actually needed.
The role also includes supporting group programs and other therapy-related activities under the guidance of our clinicians.

What's the role?
Our Client Care team is at the centre of the day-to-day running of Playology — welcoming families, responding to enquiries, managing bookings and supporting our clinicians behind the scenes.
This role will primarily involve short shifts of around three hours on weekdays, with the opportunity to pick up longer shifts when additional coverage is needed.
