For Tiana, communication is about so much more than speech sounds. She loves helping children and young people build the communication foundations that allow them to express themselves, connect with others and feel increasingly confident as they move through life.

Tiana especially enjoys supporting children and young people with literacy, articulation, expressive and receptive language, as well as communication and life skills for teenagers and young adults. Her experience spans paediatric private practice, primary and secondary schools, hospital settings and the Cleft Palate Department at Monash Children's Hospital, giving her a broad understanding of the many different ways communication can impact everyday life.

Connection is at the heart of Tiana's sessions. She takes the time to build trust, follow each child's lead and incorporate their interests into therapy, creating sessions that feel safe, engaging and meaningful. She values working collaboratively with families and combines this warm, individualised approach with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice. Most of all, she loves celebrating the wins—big and small—and watching a young person's confidence grow alongside their communication skills.

Outside of Playology, Tiana loves reading and getting out for nature walks, especially when her sweet greyhound, Oka, can come along. She's also a fan of Japanese food, a good rom-com and a wide range of music, from Amy Winehouse to Olivia Dean. A slightly unexpected skill? Tiana can speak Double Dutch! She'd also love to dust off her Spanish by travelling somewhere Spanish-speaking and putting it back into practice.
