Meet Sharon (Provisional Psychologist)

Sharon believes every child deserves a space where they can feel safe enough to simply be themselves. She knows that trust isn't built in a single session, but through consistency, patience and showing up for children exactly as they are.

She especially enjoys supporting children experiencing autism, anxiety and emotional challenges, and loves watching confidence grow over time. Having previously worked as a Therapy Assistant before becoming a psychologist, Sharon brings a practical understanding of how skills are developed and supported in everyday life. She enjoys working closely with families to create strategies that continue well beyond the therapy room.

Families often appreciate Sharon's calm and reliable approach. Her sessions are child-centred, playful and tailored to each child's individual needs and interests. While sessions often look like play, every activity has a purpose, helping children build skills, process emotions and develop confidence in ways that feel natural and engaging.

When she's not at Playology, Sharon loves getting outdoors with her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Teddy and Luca, or heading to the football to cheer on the Melbourne Demons. She enjoys a good musical comedy, never says no to pizza or a KitKat, and dreams of one day going on an African safari. A fun fact? Sharon has an incredible sense of direction and can almost always tell you which way is north!
