Meet Sarah (Psychologist)

Services offered:

  • 1:1 psychology
  • Learning, ASD and ADHD assessments

Sarah believes the best therapy starts with feeling safe. Whether she's working with a young child, a teenager or supporting parents through a challenging time, her priority is creating a space where everyone feels heard, understood and accepted—exactly as they are.

Sarah enjoys supporting children and young people experiencing a wide range of social, emotional and behavioural challenges, with particular interests in autism and ADHD assessments, anxiety, grief, emotional regulation and parent coaching. She loves working alongside families, schools and other professionals, recognising that every person brings an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to understanding a child.

Families often describe Sarah as warm, approachable and easy to talk to. She believes therapy should feel like a partnership rather than a place of judgement. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is helping families see beyond behaviour and develop a deeper understanding of their child's unique strengths, experiences and needs.

Sarah especially enjoys supporting...

  •  Autism and ADHD assessments
  • Children experiencing anxiety
  • Grief and adjustment
  • Emotional and behavioural regulation
  • Parent coaching and family support
  • Working collaboratively with schools and other professionals

One thing Sarah wishes every family knew...

"There is no expectation to be perfect when you come to therapy. What matters most is that you come as you are. I'm here to listen, understand and support you—no matter what you bring."

Away from the therapy room...

When she's not at Playology, Sarah loves spending time with her two dogs, Benji and Bear, catching up with family and friends, and getting lost in a good book. She's a fan of a good romantic comedy, never says no to nachos, and would happily spend her holidays exploring somewhere new with the people she loves.

What families often say about Sarah

 Warm   •   Supportive   •   Understanding
